Paul Sinclair- US Navy
After serving my country, I made some mistakes that led to my incarceration. When I was released, I had nowhere to go and nowhere to turn to, until I found Colonel Freddy C Austin Veteran (New Life Outreach Ministry, Inc). They didn't judge me for my past. They helped me get back on my feet. I got baptized and am currently seeking full-time employment and rebuilding relationships within the community. Even mentoring other vets who have walked a similar path. Colonel Freddie C. Austin Veterans house gave me hope when I had none.
Bobby Lowe – Resident
From the age of 8, starting in 1968 through 1975, I was in and out of reformatory schools eight times, including the Okeechobee School for Boys. At age 15, in 1975, I was sent to adult court and placed on probation until 1977. After being released, I got into trouble again and, in 1977, ended up at Lake Butler. At that time, I already had eight additional commitments to the Department of Corrections.
However, in 2012, everything began to change when I joined New Life Outreach Ministry. For the past 13 years, I've been rebuilding my life. I've changed my focus, turned away from my past, and finally found direction. I'm beginning a new chapter-and th' time, it's one I can be proud of.
Touching the Lives of the Least, the Lost, and the Last. We provide hope, housing, and support to those who need it most in our community.
